Down the TBR Hole #11

SapphicATHon is in full swing right now, and time to write blog posts are few and far between but I’m back at it again anyway with Down the TBR Hole.

This is books 198-225 of the TBR pile. My TBR is currently at 446 books. As always, I’m mentioning this tag was created by Lost in a Story! We’re getting closer and closer to 2018 and my TBR is still way too high so lets just straight into it.

199: The Star and The Ocean by Maggie Derrick: This is an f/f book written on wattpad so it’s available for free and it honestly sounds so cute and fun. I know it’s a fantasy and an Island romance.   Verdict: keeping on tbr

200: Fence by C.S Pacat: I literally love sport romances, and this is a graphic novel so it’ll be short and quick. I know it has an m/m romance, and that it’s about elite fencing athletes. Honestly I’m very intrigued by this Verdict: keeping

201: Burnt Devotion by Rebecca Ethington: This is the fifth book in a series and I think I’m going to delete it until I’ve at least read #2 because I don’t know if I’ll continue this series Verdict: deleted from tbr

202: The Tower by Cale Dietrich: I want to read Cale Dietrich’s next book, so even though this isn’t coming out until 2018 I want to read it for sure.  Verdict: keeping

205: There Will Be Other Summers by Benjamin Alire Saenz: THIS IS GONNA RUIN MY LIFE, I LOVE ARI AND DANTE. Verdict: keeping it on tbr

206: Winterglass by Benjanun Sriduangkaew: This is a sapphic retelling and the cover is stunning yes yes yes. Verdict: keeping it on tbr

207: Seafire by Natalie C. Parker:   This book is coming out in 2018, and follows the captain of an all-female ship intent on taking down a corrupt warlord’s powerful fleet. It sounds great!  Verdict: keep on tbr

208: Fantasy Book by Adam Silvera: I want to read this, but there’s been no news on it so I think I’ll delete until there’s a more solid Goodreads entry  verdict: stays

209: An Absolutely Remarkable Thing by Hank Green: I want to read this to compare how Hank and John write. Plus the synopsis sounds genuinely interesting Verdict: keep on tbr

210: Amelia Westlake by Erin Gough: This is about two girls who pull a hoax to expose their swim coach and it sounds so fun! Verdict: keeping on tbr

211: When the Ground is Hard by Malla Nunn: A MIXED RACE BOARDING SCHOOL IN SWAZILAND yes yes yes Verdict: keeping on tbr

212: A Bond of Venom and Magic by Karen Tomlinson:  I have literally no clue when or why I added this to my tbe Verdict: deleting from tbr

213: Again, But Better by Christine Riccio: Very interested in seeing how this book pans out, since it’s been a while in the making Verdict: remains on tbr

214: The Secret Treasons by Cassandra Clare: There is no news or info on this graphic novel so I think I’ll delete it off my tbr   Verdict: it goes

  1. I love Saga – I recently caught up on the series before they release Volume 7 just after Christmas. I have only ever rated one of the volumes less than 5 stars, and even then it was 4.5.

Fence and Winterglass are on my TBR too! Both sound super amazing and I have only heard good reviews about them.
