THE FATE OF THE TEARLING ➤ 41% read
This is my final read for Magical Readathon! This is the final book in the series and I’m so excited to be finally reading it.
ON EARTH WE’RE BRIEFLY GORGEOUS BY OCEAN VUONG ➤ 17% read
I am listening to the audiobook of this and I’m loving it but it’s definitely raw. I kind of need to listen to a chapter and day a day to process. But it’s beautifully written and I think I’m going to love it as I continue.
SPQR: A HISTORY OF ANCIENT ROME BY MARY BEARD ➤ 20% read
I started reading this while I was in Rome, but my library loan ran out. I’m waiting for it to renew so I can continue.

WOLFSONG BY T.J KLUNE ➤ 2 stars
Yes I put this on my five-star TBR prediction no I didn’t like. I don’t want to talk about it. In all seriousness, this SO didn’t work for me and I probably would have dnf’ed it if I didn’t need it for the Magical Readathon prompt
THE COLOR PURPLE BY ALICE WALKER ➤ 4 stars
So glad I finally got to this, it’s been on my TBR so long. This is such a powerful story about two women and love and belonging and the writing was so stunning. I think I will reread this in print sometime.
PERFUME BY PATRICK SÜSKIND ➤ 3 stars
Probably one of the strangest books I have ever read. This follows a man with extraordinary smell who starts murdering virgins so he can try to preserve their scent and make it into a perfume. Very odd and creepy in parts.

GIRL, SERPENT, THORN BY MELISSA BASHARDOUST ➤
I was blessed enough to get given an ARC of this and I CANNOT WAIT to start it. I loved Melissa Bashardoust’s first book so I have such high hopes for this one
A GIRL LIKE THAT BY TANAZ BHATHENA ➤
I was going to read this for Magical Readathon but ended up switching it out for Perfume because I wasn’t in the mood for it. But I am feeling back in the mood for it so I may pick it up if I get time.
THE FATE OF THE TEARLING BY ERIKA JOHANSEN ➤
I’ve been meaning to read this book and have had holds on it for the library audiobook which finally came through. I loved Harari’s first book so I have high hopes.
That is all for today’s WWW.
